TSL were delighted to be approached by the Construction Youth Trust, in association with Thamesview School, to host a group of Year 11 students at one of our South London sites.  Construction Youth Trust’s vision is of a construction industry which inspires and enables young people to overcome barriers and build better futures. Their work is funded by the European Union Fund, National Lottery, BBC Children in Need and the Mayor of London.

TSL’s Barbara Parker, Darren Holmes and Alex Hill engaged with the students providing them with a site specific induction, followed by a brief overview of the project.  They were then taken on a tour of the site, with the TSL team explaining the various construction activities which they found interesting and knowledgeable, with many now inspired to look at careers available in construction.
